Installation Schedule

IMPORTANT – HIGH WATER DELAYS ON

LAKE CHAMPLAIN & SCHROON LAKE!!

Please note with the substantial amount of rain we have received within the last month and are still experiencing, the lake level for Lake Champlain is currently 98.84’ as of 6/3/06 and still climbing.  We have had to cease installations for leg supported docks until the lake level recedes to a manageable level of 97.5-98’.  Once the lake level is in that range we will commence installations.   However it can take several weeks for us to provide service for all of our seasonal customers.   In consideration of the short summer season, many of you may be able to have a partial installation in order to have something to use while waiting for our services.  Please understand that even partial installations will also take us time to accommodate and we will group them together in areas as we do with our typical seasonal services.  Please note that not everyone will be able to take advantage of this, the water level may be too high at your site to install any sections at all.  We thank you in advance for your patience.

Important notes about partial installation labor charges:

Travel charges will be for every trip made to your site.

The second trip back to your site to complete the installation will most likely require breaking down what has been previously installed and reinstalling it due to leg lengths, water level, etc.

If you want to discuss the option to have a partial installation please contact our office at 1-800-870-6756 x 16 and leave a message.

We will get back to you as soon as possible.

In order to better serve you we have generated a tentative schedule for 2007 Re-installs. We will do our best to update this schedule regularly as changes are made. Please note that there are many circumstances that affect how our schedule flows such as adverse weather conditions and lake levels. Therefore this schedule is meant to serve as a guide only and please understand that we cannot guarantee dates based on delays beyond our control. We are providing this as a special service to our seasonal customers to let you know that we are thinking about you and are doing our best to give you the service you deserve.

As always you have the option to call us for this information. However we will also be following this same guide and may not be able to be more specific on timeframes. We want to thank you in advance for your patience during our busiest time of year.

We perform our seasonal installations two ways - by land or by the use of our workboat depending on the type of dock or boatlift system and site conditions.  Many customers require the service of our land based crew for the dock and the work boat for service of the boat lift.  If you aren’t certain how your system is serviced, here are some general guidelines.

Serviced by Land Crew
leg docks
wheel docks
swim floats
boat lifts (some lifts can go in by land crew, however many require the use of our workboat)

Serviced by Work Boat
floating docks
boat lifts (located at sites too precarious to install by land crew)
large capacity boatlifts (Champlain Lifts)
Moorings
